About the Role:
One Shot Automation LLC is looking for a driven and skilled Automations Engineer/Project Engineer to join our growing team. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automated systems and control solutions for industrial and commercial applications
- Manage engineering projects from initial planning and design through installation, commissioning, and closeout
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other automation components
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation system issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance
- Develop technical documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and project specifications
- Conduct site visits, system startups, and on-site commissioning as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms)
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development and industrial control systems
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, panel design, and NEC code standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions and team collaboration
- Willingness to travel to job sites as required
